Webinar / branding site

A site for an instructor to promote their online course. It covers the instructor’s profile, course content, comparisons, and testimonials.

To maximize conversions, I designed a clear visual hierarchy that builds trust step-by-step, using strategic video placements to engage visitors before the final CTA.

Portfolio landing page / lead funnel

For a food photographer who had strong craft and a published cookbook, but no clear path to turn followers into income.

I transformed a standard portfolio into a conversion-focused lead funnel, optimizing the UX to guide visitors seamlessly from admiring her work to booking her services.

Lead generation landing page

For a Massachusetts brand making premium, handmade wooden cutting boards. To immediately convey craftsmanship, I paired elegant serif typography with rich, immersive photography.

I designed a story-driven layout that guides visitors from brand heritage to product selection, using strategic trust signals (reviews, FAQs) to reduce friction and drive both direct sales and custom requests.

Tech website

A site for a company offering CRM and AI-powered management solutions. Since tech products can be overwhelming, I focused on simplifying the information architecture.

By designing intuitive pricing tables and clear process flows, visitors can easily digest the features and choose a plan with clarity.

Growth tools webpage

A funnel-style page for a platform-growth software (handling follow-ups, booking sync, etc.).

To reduce bounce rates, I structured the page narrative to directly address user pain points first, followed by clear visual workflows that guide the prospect smoothly toward the conversion goal.

STEP 01 · STRATEGY

Align the brief

  • Write down the goal, the user, and what "done" looks like01
  • Split what ships now from what waits02
  • Name constraints early: time, platform, brand03
  • Lock the scope before any screen gets drawn04

Study the market and the user

  • See how similar products handle the same job01
  • Find where the user gets stuck02
  • Keep only points that change structure or copy03
  • Turn findings into design decisions04

About me

I’m Dylan, a Web & UI/UX designer based in Malaysia. I design websites and landing pages for education, tech, F&B, coaching, real estate, and personal brands, where the design has to fit the brand and make the visitor’s next step obvious. I work across UI/UX, web design, branding, and visual design, and I can take a site from concept to a working build.

I started out as an intern, where I built three company websites from scratch, taking each one from first idea to a live site. Since then I’ve worked across several industries, and each project starts the same way: understand the brand’s personality, then work out the one thing a visitor most needs to do. Style should match the brand, and structure should serve the user’s main goal. That’s what each case study here shows: the brief, the decisions I made, and why. Updates on Facebook.

Before we start.

Common questions about scope, timeline, revisions, and payment. Still unsure? and I’ll clarify.

Before we begin, I send a short form about your company, brand, or product. It covers goals, audience, copy, and design references. Once that is clear, we align on scope and then start design.

It depends on the size of the project. A typical one-page corporate landing page usually takes about two weeks for design and build. Larger scope or late content will take longer.

One revision round is included. Extra changes after that are charged based on scope, and the delivery date will move.

Yes. I usually prefer recorded videos to brief and update — it saves time across time zones. We can also book a call when needed.

A 30% deposit is required before work starts. The rest is due on delivery, as agreed for the project.
